The purpose of the Kinship Navigator Program is to bring awareness to and further expand support to families providing kinship care.Īuxiliary Grants provide a cash payment for aged, blind, or disabled individuals who reside in a licensed Assisted Living Facility ( ALF). Kinship Care is the full-time care, nurturing and protection of children by relatives, members of their tribes or clans, godparents, stepparents, or any adult who has a kinship bond with a child. The Independent Living Program (ILP) assists foster care youth ages 14 to 21 in developing the necessary skills to make the transition from foster care to adulthood. Foster Care & AdoptionĪdopt a child or become a foster family. The Fatherhood Development Group brings fathers of all ages together to share their stories and support one another while gaining new insight into the challenges of responsible parenting. Prevention services are voluntary services offered to strengthen families and improve child well-being. Services for at-risk youth and their families are purchased from a single state pool of funds. Report abuse or neglect of a child to Child Protective Services. Assistance with nutrition, medical needs and nursing home care.
